
Stuart Bramwell is an award-winning composer, orchestrator, and arranger based in London. He is currently the Director of Film & Media Music at the Zagreb Symphony Orchestra and former faculty at the renowned Yehudi Menuhin School.
EDUCATION
Stuart holds a 1st-class BMus from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and an MMus with highest distinction from the Berklee College of Music. In 2020, Stuart won a coveted BAFTA scholarship in recognition of his exceptional talent composing for the screen. Throughout his studies, Stuart also received private mentorship whilst assisting Grammy and Emmy nominated Hollywood composers Mark Portmann and Paul Chihara (prior tutor to James Horner and James Newton Howard).
WORK
In 2026, Stuart won special prize at the International Competition ASTOR PIAZZOLLA. His work has led him to collaborate alongside eminent artists such as Nicola Benedetti, Tasmin Little, Jennifer Pike, Nitin Sawhney, Edward Gardner, Stephen Barlow and many more. Stuart has also worked alongside acclaimed screen talent including Andy Serkis, Alice Eve and Robert Hardy.Stuart has worked with ensembles such as the London Symphony Orchestra, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Budapest Art Orchestra, National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, Brodsky Quartet, Maxwell Quartet and Red Note ensemble. He has arranged music for artists such as Daniel Hamin Go, and labels such as Orchid Classics and his music has featured on ITV, BBC, Classic FM, RTVE and many other networks. On YouTube, Stuart's compositions and arrangements have become viral sensations, garnering millions of views alongside tens of thousands of subscribers.
